Contributions and Associated Costs
2026 Contributions and Charges are now available to view/download. Your child’s 2026 proposed Contributions and Charges statement will be mailed home before the end of the 2025 school year.
All charges are required to be paid by end of Term 1 2026, or a payment arrangement must be made with the Finance Officer prior to 17 April 2026. Please contact the Finance Officer (Kiah Pitman) via email on geraldton.shs.accounts@education.wa.edu.au or via phone on 9965 8407.

Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) & ABSTUDY
Secondary Assistance Scheme
The Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) is an allowance for those eligible families to receive assistance with secondary schooling costs for Year 7-12 students studying full-time in a WA Public School. The allowance consists of two components:
· $235 Education Program Allowance, paid to the school
· $115 Clothing Allowance, paid to parent/caregiver or the school
If you hold a valid Centrelink Health Card; Centrelink Pensioners Card or Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner (blue) Card with the student(s) listed on the card and is valid for a period within Term 1, 2026 you are eligible to receive the allowance, and we encourage you to apply.
ABSTUDY
ABSTUDY is available to those parent/caregiver with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students in Years 6-12 to provide additional support towards your child’s school fees. This allowance is available to those eligible through Centrelink directly.
Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the Secondary Assistance Scheme as well the ABSTUDY allowance, therefore if eligible you will receive the following:
· $115 Clothing Allowance – paid to parent/caregiver
· $235 Education Program Allowance – paid to the school
· $156 ABSTUDY Allowance (up to) – paid to the school
